Are the shirts uni-sex?

Generally yes, the shirt vendor web site (Gildan 2000 Tee Shirt) models the tee shirt on both men and women.  There is a women's specific cut available but be sure to read this before ordering to understand an issue with the color of the women's cut shirts.

Did the prices go up for the second shirt printing?

Because over 200 shirts were ordered for the first printing I was able to get the S-XL shirts for ~$8 each.  I don't expect that many shirts to be ordered for the second printing and am estimating the S-XL shirts will be ~$15 each.  The final price will be determined when I get a sense of how many shirts will be ordered for the second printing.

What beach is Roy on in his picture and could people really drive cars on the beach in the 1970's?

Roy is on Daytona Beach.  With respect to the car, in the 1970s we could freely do all sorts of things that today would result in an intervention if you are a minor or jail time if you are over 18.

Why is there a Tiger on the gym shirt?

It's my understanding from Ranjan Bose '76 that long time MLHS physical education teacher George Wilson had a close affiliation with the coach of Princeton basketball, Pete Carill and picked the Princeton mascot (a Tiger) for the MLHS gym shirts.  Please tell me (chas@horvaths.org) if you have better information or a correction with regard to this understanding.

I'm disappointed the shirts may not have the Briarcliff locker room smell.  Can it be added to my shirt?

The shirt vendor does not offer the Briarcliff locker room smell as an option, likely due to EPA restrictions.

Do I get discounts if I am wearing the tee shirt?

I moved to Boston in 1981 and was hanging out wearing a MLHS gym shirt with some friends including a Mountain Laker (Joe Muetteries if I recall properly).  We went into a liquor store on Boylston Street, a busy commercial street in Boston's Back Bay, and one of the people working at the store was a MLHS grad.  He was a lot younger than me so though the name rang a bell I've long forgotten who it was, but Joe knew him.  No, we did not get any sort of discount.
